Kevin, 7th Grade

“When I grow up, I want to be an astronomer because I want to help technology advance.”  These are words from Kevin, one of our many inner-city students with aspirational goals. Because of Kevin’s access to the STEM programs that are highly emphasized in his cherished Catholic school, Kevin shoots for the stars!

By incorporating STEM education into the regular curriculum, students like Kevin are in the perfect position to foster an interest in these subjects that continues through to high school, college, and the workplace.
