Job Opportunities Program

Our Lady Of Grace Student

Inner-City Scholarship Fund’s Job Opportunities Program provides high school juniors attending inner-city Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York the opportunity to gain experience in a business setting through job-readiness workshops and paid summer internships at many of New York’s most prestigious companies and organizations. Student participants attend a series of career preparation seminars conducted by a dedicated group of volunteers from the business community where they learn basic skills that will help them acquire and retain that first, crucial job in today’s dynamic workplace.

The Job Opportunities Program ensures that inner-city students are equipped with the knowledge and up-to-date skill sets they will need to enter a rapidly evolving workforce in the first stage of their career.

Ways to Get Involved

  • Host a Job Opportunities Program information session at your work place
  • Join the ranks of underwriters by supporting a Job Opportunities Program initiative such as Resume writing skills, Interview preparation workshops, or Alumni tracking projects
