Get involved

There are no annual dues or required time commitments – all Junior Board events and initiatives are come as you wish and according to your own schedule. In a typical year, we offer many events to participate in, including volunteering at holiday parties, assisting students with community service projects, coaching basketball, and chaperoning field trips. As our programs are currently being held virtually, involvement looks a little different this year. If you would like to volunteer, please reach out to our Executive Committee and we will work to connect you with a current opportunity!

Over 70% of the students we work with live at or below the federally defined poverty level in rough neighborhoods of the Bronx and Harlem. Participating in the enrichment programs of the Junior Board make lasting impressions and memories:
